An old picture combined with an even older picture from Copenhagen 2010.
I leave it to you to figure out the concept.

Seen is a girl looking down almost as if she were a gohst or possibly a shadow (of the past maybe?). With a a turning building in the background showing many windows, one is lead to believe that many things have happened with the passing of time. It has a cold and almost painfull atmosphere and and the girls hair is not perfectly combed almost as if there were a static were in the air. -> Another reason for the gohstly feeling.
The black and white usually has an association to the past and leads one to believe that the picture taken, was taken a while ago.
It leaves the viewer feeling as if either the girl were a part of the buildings history. Or if one were to flip coin, one could say, that we are privaliged with a glimpse into the girls (possibly painful) past.
All in all it is a moving work making one think about why it was done which is pretty much the goal of every artist: "To make the viewer look into the work of art and then reflect upon it inside of themselves.
